Who is Your Person?

Who is your personIf you are a fan of Grey’s Anatomy I know you know what this means. I ask this question a lot in therapy sessions. “Who is YOUR person?” We all need that special someone. Someone who will always be in our corner no matter what. It is the person you could call in the middle of the night if you really needed something. I always told my girls, if you don’t have someone you can call in the middle of the night to come get you or you can go to, you better start finding some new friends! “Your person”. I just like the way that sounds, don’t you? My person is my sister Jen. Despite the fact she is 11 years younger than me, she has grown up to be more than just my sister. I can whine, complain and vent to her and I always know she will give me support and encouragement. We can laugh together, dream together (scheme together) and create together. She is “my person,” Now I want you all to think….and let us know…who is your person?( If you aren’t familiar with this scene from Grey’s, check it out on You Tube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9DN4Dw3tyLY)

  1. Jules and Jen says:

I would be remiss if I didn’t add that my friend Cindy runs a very close second in being my person. We have been friends since 6th grade and I wouldn’t trade her for anything!!

  2. Thanks Jules! I’m so glad God blessed me with you for a sister! You are “my person” too!
