I have been trying to eat more whole, unprocessed foods.  I was surprised when I looked at the back of a taco seasoning mix and discovered how many ingredients it contained, many which I could not pronounce!  I decided to search the Internet for a better option and I found this recipe.  My family commented that the tacos I prepare using this seasoning, taste better than the store brand seasoning.  I would say it is a keeper, because they are a tough crowd to please!  I hope this recipe might inspire you to whip up some tasty homemade tacos for your family!

How much seasoning you use, depends on how spicy you like your taco meat.  I use about 1-2 tablespoons of the mixture and 3/4 cup water.  Also, I store the mix in the refrigerator.

Enjoy!
